Encapsulated transformers refer to the way in which the components inside the transformer are manufactured. In encapsulated transformers, the coils and core are covered with an epoxy resin that is then baked to completely seal out moisture and contaminants. This type of transformer is excellent for harsh temperatures and extreme envriomental conditions where gases, liquids and other outside hazerdous material can lead to damage. MoxiE’s encapsulated transformers are manufatured with a vacuum filled casting construction that is able to withstand high voltage surges and industrial temperature requirements.
